Try to have at least 2 players for each position on the pitch. Then look at the rest of your squad and identify your best players and work out what the best formation is for your current players and work around that. Look at the squads of the best teams in your league and see if you need a better keeper. The most important position to strengthen early on is your Goalkeeper.
